Shall we recap?
I love looking at everyone’s end of the year mosaics, so I decided to do a second annual year-end round up.
First and foremost, some Oliver + S. Apparently 2012 was the year of blue and gray over here. Maybe I should shoot for a little more color in 2013?
And while it doesn’t happen too often, once in awhile I branch out and try other patterns…
and some non-clothing goods:
And last but not least I made this little yawner, a task that consumed the better part of 2012 and has kept me away from the sewing machine for awhile now…but I’m really hoping to get back to it in 2013!
Hope everyone has a very happy New Year!
Look at that adorable brother and sister! What an accomplishment sewing-wise too, it always looks so impressive all laid out together!
Always inspiring! I look forward to more of your creations in 2013 (although it’ll be hard to top your little yawner).
Happy New Year Gail!
Your sewing is always gorgeous – I love seeing it all together like this.
Your sewing is so amazing and inspirational. Your kids are too adorable. Happy New Year!
So so beautiful, Gail! I love your collection! And that little creation at the end ain’t half bad 😉 Happy New Year to you and your family!!
Great creations – from beginning to end!! Your work and style is always amazing…
Love your aesthetic…. These are all beautiful. And seriously, that boy is SO cute!
Ahhhh Gail, you’re my fave. Please keep sewing blue and gray girl clothes – since I don’t get the chance very often, I love ogling yours!! Seeing all your posts together is pure eye candy for me – so serene and beautiful. Hugs and happy new year, buddy!
Great work on “the little yawner” – your best work of the year!:) And while I miss seeing your sewing creations of late, he certainly is the best reason ever for not having time to sew:)
As for the blue and gray, I’m totally with you there! Trying to throw in a little color too, but it’s hard to do when my fabric piles are all shades of green, blue and grey:) As I looked through your photo mosaics, my attention was drawn to the shot cotton Sweet Dress in orange – and I’m loving it! There may be one in my daughter’s future! But my all-time favorite of your projects this year is the Ice Cream Dress with color banding on the pockets. This one continues to amaze me whenever I see it pop up in Pinterest:)
Looking forward to being further amazed by you in 2013!
totally jaw dropping. Your sewing always amazes me, as does your photography. and your kids are so darling. 🙂
So so so lovely! The beautiful kids, the wonderful creations (blue and gray are my go-to colors as well!). The clothes are amazing but the tea bags and pasta are killing me with their cuteness. Happy New Year!
Your sewing is just beautiful! I have a new one just a day older than yours — I’m going to have to motivate myself to pretty up my burp cloths like you did. I also love the proud big sibling photo. Your kids are so cute!
Your work is beautiful and you are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your sewing and your lovely children!
I was going to comment and say how inspiring your pictures are and how much I love all your sewing, but it seems like 13 other folks beat me to it! I do love your color scheme, and I’m still waiting to get an Oliver and S. pattern. You’re the one that has completely inspired that great desire within me! I have a 2 year old, so all the picture of your little girl makes me want to do the exact same thing for my girlie!
Don’t you just love seeing everything all at once. It’s funny how quickly you start to see a trend in color. Mine was purple this year. And I don’t normally even like purple haha.
Happy new year!
in love with everything. also, i’m a fan of the more subdued palette. but anyway, new follower here. you are amazingly talented!
